HEAL Movement is a registered non profitable grass root level voluntary organization working on the integrated development programmes for the distressed community in South Tamil Nadu particularly in Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli Districts since 1984.

HEAL is registered under the Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act of 1972 on  28.04.1986 and the Registration number is 23/86.  HEAL is also registered under the Foreign Contributions Regulations Act and the Number is 075890115.  HEAL is exempted from 12A of Income Tax Act of India.

We are working in the extreme remote areas and carrying out various activities with special emphasis on community empowerment of disadvantaged people. HEAL concentrates mainly on marginalized people like women, children, youth, disabled, Dalits, widows, Fisher folk, Sea Shell Collectors/Workers; Tsunami affected people, bonded and child labourers. 

HEAL is a rights based NGO basically fighting for the rights of the children in all levels and the marginalized communities.
